Trade Polymarket like an exchange.

PolyEdge puts Polymarket on a proper trading ladder. Back and lay every outcome side by side, take profit with one click, and trade at keyboard speed — with the depth, charts and workspaces you expect from professional software.

Version 0.1.2 · No account needed to view live markets · Setup guide

Everything you need on one screen

Built for people who already trade exchanges — the ladder works the way you expect, with Betfair-style back and lay on Polymarket's order book.

Back & lay ladders

One ladder per outcome, side by side. Live depth streamed from the order book, best prices highlighted, your working orders shown in the Mine columns — click to cancel.

One-click tradeout

Flatten any position at market with the locked-in profit or loss shown before you click. No hunting for the opposite side.

Keyboard trading

Hover a price and hit a key to back, lay, cancel a level or trade out. Fully remappable, with an ARM switch so nothing fires by accident.

📈

Charts that pop out

A chart under any ladder, from 5 minutes to a day, fed by live trades. Pop any of them into its own window and put it on a second monitor.

Odds or cents

Switch the whole app between decimal odds and Polymarket cents. Read prices the way you already think about them.

💾

Saved workspaces

Save your event, ladders, charts, stake and layout as a named workspace and switch between setups in one click.

🔍

Fast market finder

Browse by category or jump to today's games sorted by kick-off. Star the events you trade to keep them one click away.

🔒

Keys stay on your machine

Your credentials are encrypted with the operating system's own keystore and orders are signed locally. Nothing is sent to us — there is no server.

🔼

Post-only protection

Flip post-only on and any order that would cross the spread is rejected instead of filling — pure maker trading, no accidental takes.

Download PolyEdge

Free to use. Market data works straight away with no account — connect your Polymarket wallet only when you want to place orders.

Heads up on the first install. PolyEdge is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen will say “unknown publisher” — choose More info → Run anyway. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open the first time. Signed builds are on the way.

Up and running in four steps

Viewing markets takes seconds. Trading needs your Polymarket wallet details — the full setup guide walks through it with screenshots.

Install and open

Download for your platform, install, and launch. Live markets, prices and ladders work immediately — no sign-up, no account.

Add your Polymarket wallet

In Settings, paste the private key exported from your Polymarket profile and enter your wallet address. The key is encrypted by your operating system and never leaves the machine.

Pick a market

Browse a category or search, then open an event to get a ladder for every outcome. Add or remove ladders with the chips along the top.

Trade

Set your stake, then click a Back or Lay price — or hover and press B / L with hotkeys armed. Close out any time with Trade out.

Questions

Is PolyEdge free?

Yes. The app is free to download and use. Polymarket's own protocol fees still apply to trades you make, exactly as they would on their website.

Do you ever see my private key?

No. PolyEdge has no server and no account system. Your key is stored encrypted using your operating system's keystore (DPAPI on Windows, Keychain on macOS) and orders are signed locally on your own machine before going to Polymarket.

How is this different from the Polymarket website?

The website is built for placing a bet; PolyEdge is built for trading in and out of one. You get a full-depth ladder per outcome, one-click tradeout with the P&L shown up front, keyboard execution, post-only orders, live charts and saved layouts.

What are back and lay on Polymarket?

Backing an outcome buys its shares. Laying is the opposite side — PolyEdge does it by buying the opposing outcome at the complementary price, so you can lay without holding any position first, just like an exchange.

Does it update itself?

Yes. PolyEdge checks for new versions in the background and offers a one-click restart to update, so you always have the current build.

Which markets can I trade?

Everything on Polymarket's order book — sports, politics, crypto, economics and more — including multi-outcome events like World Cup winner, with a ladder for each runner.
